Our graduate program:
Our 18-month Graduate Program, Foundations, has been uniquely designed to bridge the gap between formal education and the workforce, establishing a clear path for your future and accelerated success. As a BMD team member, you will develop skills in problem solving, critical thinking, innovation and team building.
BMD graduates are offered a career path with adequate support systems in place to encourage growth and individual contributions. We offer structured on-the-job training, learning and development plans designed for growth, and unique access to business leaders for mentoring.

Our industry leading Graduate Program is designed to set you up for a long and successful career – by building a solid foundation. Here’s what to expect:
- engage in structured learning through three tailored modules on topics designed to develop critical thinking, problem-solving and leadership skills
- experience exciting hands-on and in person learning every six months to build relationships and network with your peers from across the country
- receive mentoring from BMD’s Board of Directors, executive management team and emerging leaders who genuinely want to build your leadership qualities and help you progress through the ranks
- see inspiring presentations from industry experts to build your skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.
What you’ll do:
As a Graduate Environmental Advisor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our project teams, to contribute to the implementation of BMD’s environmental management systems. You will be responsible for promoting compliance and excellence in all environmental obligations and positively influencing project stakeholders to achieve best for project environmental outcomes.

To be successful, you will have:
- tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering
