Scope
The scope of work included:
- construction of a six-level apartment building including car park/service area to ground floor level
- construction of 14 apartments and three penthouses
- construction of a roof deck
- installation of copper clad façade
- installation of spiral staircase to roof deck.
Outcomes
BMD Urban built the structure in two sections to overcome tight space and access constraints and the inability to close one of the city’s main roads for extended periods of time. A close working relationship with the Consulting team and the Adelaide City Council enabled construction issues to be resolved and design changes to be incorporated promptly, ensuring the project was delivered without delay. Community consultation continued throughout the duration of the project and resulted in positive outcomes.
